A flea trap may be the perfect solution for those who want to get rid of a flea infestation without the use of harmful chemicals or strong medications. These traps are configured to attract, catch and forbid fleas from escaping. This results in the death of the flea, removes their ability to reproduce, and allows you to live in peace. Click Here
A flea trap can come in many forms. The preferred type uses no chemicals, and attracts fleas through light and heat. As fleas can sense body warmth, the flea trap emulates the temperature of a living creature in order to charm the fleas. When the flea gets close to the flea trap, they are caught in it. Once captured, they die, preventing the cycle from renewing.
Selecting which flea trap is right for you can be a challenge. The type of trap you select is often dependent on how widespread the
infestation is. A common trap will have a range of just about Twenty-five feet, allowing one trap to cover an entire room. If you have an infestation, you may need to buy several traps to place round your home to make certain that all of the fleas are killed.
Unlike flea foggers, Front Line, Advantage, Borax soap and other remedies, all that you need to make use of a flea trap is a power outlet and pads for your particular trap. The pads are configured to prevent the fleas from escaping, and can be removed when it has captured the quantity of fleas it is designed to handle. By replacing the pads frequently, you can make sure your trap remains effective.
A good flea trap will be durable, and have a screen that protects the pad from being accessed by children. While the pads are not toxic to children or pets, it takes time for the fleas captured on them to die. As such, you do not want your pets to have access to this pad, as it is possible that they may be able to free the fleas and get bitten in the process.
As fleas can be carriers of disease and cause uncomfortableness for up to two weeks from just one bite, you will want to make certain that you take all of the necessary steps in order to prevent bites. A flea trap is one of the easiest, safest ways that you can remove fleas.
It is suggested that you make certain to treat your pets with flea medications, as a flea trap will not be able to protect your pets from fleas that they get from the outdoors. Click Here

you wont be rid of the fleas untill all the eggs hatch that have been laid buy the fleas you are killing now. So you have to kill 2 or 3 generations which takes a while
My dog brought in fleas a few years ago and I tried it hoping to avoid using pesticides in my home.
It works but not the best.
And it is pretty scary getting up in the morning to find a bowl of fleas floating in your living room…At least it was for me.
So then I ended up bombing my house with the pesticide bombs and that killed the fleas.
I always use Frontline on my dogs since that time…Fleas can be a nightmare to get rid of.
I would reccomend using the dish of soap technique to check to see if you have them…Then use bombs to kill them.
Install the bulb in the night-light and plug into a wall outlet. Be sure the bulb is hanging down toward the bowl on the floor.
Fill a shallow dish with water and add a few drops of dish washing soap (to cause the fleas to sink instead of floating atop the water).
Place the bowl of water directly under the well-secured light bulb and turn on the light (leave it on 24/7).
Leave the night-light and water bowl in place until you are no longer catching any fleas.

Hope I helped.

The whole idea is keep fleas out of your house. Once they have invaded What do you do? I have tried every thing, sprays, powers you name it. These have been temporary solution at best. the best response to the invasion is to trap them. Each of the invaders you trap is 200 fleas removed. Once they are trapped, no kids. Yes the trap works and it removes fleas with out the deadly chemicals. If fleas get into your house and you prefer not to kill all the other residents of your house try the traps.

Does anyone know if a “flea trap” will actually work??
I’ve read on several websites that if you set a dish of soap under a light that fleas will be attracted to the heat, thinkin it is a host, and thus jump in the soap and die. Have any of you tried it, and if so did it work?

We have fleas in our bedroom and we have bombed tour entire house twice. Our two kittens have been treated with Frontline for a week. We’ve tried borax yesterday. When we set up the fleas traps, we get about 20 fleas each night and they stay off our bed. Should we keep going with the fleas traps until they are gone?
